Recalling The Early Days that Fashion, Music, Art and Street embrace each other

Since fast fashion brands like Uniqlo, ZARA etc. have become central to fashion industry, fashion has turned into a daily commodity, and the time when it was closely tied to culture is fading into the past. In this increasingly mundane era, we hope to create a movement that revives the excitement and energy of creation by hosting this event that reminds people of the exhilarating time when fashion, music, graffiti, and art intertwined and sparked crossovers.

UNNAMED SHOWCASE
Cultural Crossovers :

Originally, high fashion was reserved for the aristocracy, but when it fused with music, a chemical reaction occurred, turning fashion into a movement that swept up edgy youth.
For example, the punk scene with Vivienne Westwood’s Seditionaries and the Sex Pistols, the Antwerp Six, including Martin Margiela, linking with grunge, and the fusion of punk and skater culture with Tokyo based brands like A Bathing Ape, Undercover from the Ura-Harajuku scene.
Similarly, graffiti born from hip-hop culture linked with brands like Adidas and Kangol, forging a massive movement where music and fashion merged.

At the same time, there was also a close connection between art and mass production, as seen with the artists like Warhol, Basquiat, and Keith Haring, as well as the merging of art on street.
UNNAMED SHOWCASE

It was truly an era where music, fashion, and art boiled together in a melting pot, casting a spell that captivated young people worldwide.

The APPLE and Desktop Revolution :

In terms of creative expression, the invention of the Macintosh provided groundbreaking tools to many young people with limited production circumstances. Under the concept of desktop publishing (DTP), Apple’s design tools gave young generation around the world the means to create their own media in their garage or a small apartment room, revolutionizing the traditional publishing industry.
Now, anyone with a desire to express themselves could do so from their laptop.

DIY and Self-Promotion Era :

Additionally, the release of web development tools, along with the simple protocols of the WWW/HTTP and the invention of HTML, enabled individuals to broadcast their creation globally.

UNNAMED SHOWCASE

This media revolution greatly expanded the freedom of art and design. Today, digital production is the norm, and personal creation can be easily shared through social media, making it an era where anything seems possible with the right ideas. In this event, we want to provide artists access to EPSON’s latest DTG printers and object printers, which represent the cutting edge of DTP/DIY technology.

By allowing artists to freely produce original products on-demand and sell them directly to buyers on-site, we aim to make this vision a reality. Printer Demo :
